BAHAWALPUR - District Police Officer (DPO) Faisal Kamran on Friday personally reviewed strict security arrangements at all religious places and expressed satisfaction over the foolproof security of mosques and imambargahs during prayers.
DPO issued directions to all the divisional SPs, DSPs and SHOs to adopt stringent security measures on Friday. He personally reviewed the security arrangements at all the religious places. Police officers and officials remained alert at all the sensitive mosques and imambargahs. Police checked all the vehicles and suspicious persons at the entry and exit points of the city.
According to details, as per vision of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazar and instructions of Punjab IG Inam Ghani, DPO Muhammad Faisal Kamran is engaged in 24/7 policing to ensure social peace. After giving a unique overview of the “Consultation Forum,” the DPO went out to check the security of the Friday prayer gatherings. Faisal Kamran said that inter-faith and inter-religious harmony was essential for the establishment of social peace, for which it was essential that everyone be given a safe opportunity to worship according to their beliefs, a right that the law gives to everyone.
