BAHAWALPUR - District Police Officer Muhammad Faisal Kamran on Wednesday paid a surprise visit to various places, roads of the city and reviewed security arrangements. He checked the deployment of police force on their respective points.
DPO made surprise visit in plain clothes without security, It is noteworthy that for the first time in Bahawalpur, a police chief visited the city and checked security deployment on various locations setup at the entry and exit points. He said that protection of life and property of the people was our top priority and all resources were being utilised to ensure this.
While talking to the citizens, DPO said that he would not leave any stone unturned in maintaining the law and order situation. He vowed to eradicate crime from the society.
He made an important announcement that the police officers on arresting habitual criminals and police offenders, would be rewarded. He directed the officers to be courteous with the citizens. He also ordered for taking strict action against vehicles with tinted glass, vehicles without number plates and tempered number plates. He commended the officers of his circle for maintaining law and order situation and strongly reprimanded the officers for their negligence and issued show cause notices.
Meanwhile, DPO Muhammad Faisal Kamran in the open forum listened the problems of the citizen and assigned task to Civil Lines Police to redress the grievances of public.
DPO Muhammad Faisal Kamran continued the series of open court without any break. The positive results of which are evident from the performance and quick action of Bahawalpur police.
Three days ago, on the complaint of a citizen Muhammad Tariq, DPO Muhammad Faisal Kamran ordered DSP City and SHO Civil Lines Police Station to recover the abductee of Muhammad Tariq and arrest the accused.
