A girl was killed and her sister injured over a matrimonial issue while a woman was murdered over domestic issue in a separate incident here on Saturday.
The police said that Shumlia, 18, and her sister Sania were allegedly killed their uncle and his sons in Chak 42, Bahawalpur.
According to police, Arshad had proposed both the sisters for his sons but the girls refused.
At which he, in a fit of rage, opened fire, killing Shumaila on the spot while Sania sustained critical injuries.
The body and the injured were rushed to Bahawalpur Victoria Hospital for medico-legal formalities and treatment.
Doctors said that the injured girl is in critical condition.
The accused managed to flee the scene.The police have registered a case and started investigation.
