Model investigation officers will be appointed in police stations of the Bahawalpur division.
Regional Police Officer (RPO) Dr Ehsan Sadiq said at an open court at Civil Lines police station on Wednesday.He said model investigation officers would investigate the cases in a transparent manner. He said credible and clean officials may be taken for the assignment.Earlier, he referred to the appointment of police victim response officers (PVROs), which he claimed, had performed well to settle several petty and minor cases in a year. He said the model investigation officers and PVROs would go a long way to bring about a change in policing.Civil society and traders assured the RPO of their cooperation to eliminate criminals from society.
