During the police campaign against contraband substances, the district police have seized 24 kilogram of marijuana (Hash), arrested 13 drug peddlers and registered 13 cases under section 9-C of CrPC during last three months.According to Sajjad Sindhu Station House Officer (SHO)Police Station Saddar, police unearthed four alcohol distilleries which led to the recovery of huge quantity of liquor, arrested 16accused and registered eight cases.He said thatpolicealso raided four houses used for adultery and sealed them. During the operation, the SHO said that nine First Information Reports (FIRs) were also lodged over possession of illegal arms andpolicerecovered a Kalashnikov rifle, pistol and revolverfromtheir possession.
