Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rana Muhammad Saleem Afzal, along with District Police Officer (DPO) Cap.(R) Mustanar Feroze , visited fruit and vegetable market here on Friday .The DC inspected the auction process and checked the prices of different vegetables and fruits as wellas their quality.He said that hoarding of any item would not be tolerated and strict action would be taken against hoarders and profiteers.The DC directed themarketcommittee staff to remain vigilant during auction process and check all kinds of price-hike. The DPO Bahawalpur checked the security arrangements in themarketand directed the staff to actively perform their duties.
